Blink's latest camera just dropped—the Blink Mini 2. This camera combines all the features you expect from a security camera with an affordable price point.

Enhanced features for comprehensive security

The Blink Mini 2 isn't just an upgrade; it's a revolution in home surveillance technology. Packed with advanced features, including on-device computer vision (CV) technology powered by Blink's custom-built chip, this innovative camera now boasts smart notifications with person detection. This means users receive alerts only when a person is detected, filtering out unnecessary notifications caused by animals or objects. (We can't wait to put this tech to the test!)

Compact design, exceptional versatility

True to its name, the Blink Mini 2 retains the compact design we love while introducing a host of new functionalities. With the optional Blink Weather Resistant Power Adapter, you can use this camera in just about any environment, whether placed indoors or (this is new!) outdoors. Its sleek form factor promises to be a breeze to install, giving you eyes on every corner of your property without hassle.

Privacy and control at your fingertips

With once-favorite brands like Wyze plagued by hacking issues, we're happy to see Blink prioritizing user privacy and giving users complete control over security settings. Users can customize privacy and activity zones through the Blink app, ensuring the camera captures only relevant footage. All image processing is conducted locally on the device, making your data more secure.

Seamless integration with Alexa

It's no big surprise that the Amazon-owned brand seamlessly integrates with Alexa, letting you control the Blink Mini 2 with your voice. From receiving alerts to accessing live views on demand, you can manage most things using Alexa-enabled devices, including your security setup.

Availability and pricing

The Blink Mini 2 is available today in the US and Canada, starting at $39.99 USD and $54.99 CAD. Customers can opt for the bundled package for outdoor use, including the Blink Weather Resistant Power Adapter, priced at $49.98 USD and $69.98 CAD.

Subscription needed for premium features

You can do a lot with the Blink Mini 2 as-is, but you do get extras like cloud recording and extended video history with a Blink subscription plan. Blink plans range from $3 to $10 per month, with two months free if you pay for your plan upfront.
