1. JETech Tempered Glass: Best screen protector overall
Price is based on iPhone 15 and is accurate as of post date. Read full disclaimer.
The mark of a great screen protector is that you forget you even have one applied. For that, I reckon JETech is hard to beat. I've since used their screen protectors on every phone I've had since 2019, along with my Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck, and never had an issue.
They're cheap, durable, usually come in multiples (in case you're a bit of a klutz), and, in some cases, also include a handy frame that clips onto your device for easy installation.
It's thick enough to be durable but thin enough that you forget it's there. What more could you ask for?
2. Spigen EZ Fit GLAS.tR: Easiest screen protector to install
Price is based on iPhone 15 and is accurate as of post date. Read full disclaimer.
Raise your hand if you've been personally victimised by an infuriating, bubble-filled screen protector 🙋♀️ Fortunately, the Spigen EZ Fit GLAS.tR is a breeze to apply, making the chances of a screen protector-based meltdown slim to none. Plus, you get two, so there's backup in case you (somehow) manage to make a mistake—or simply need a replacement a year or so down the road.
Although it's thinner than our top pick, that does mean it'll be even easier not to notice, and though it's a bit pricier, for some, the peace of mind that comes with a simple installation may be worth the extra cash.
Tempered glass screen protectors have replaced the old-school contact-like plastic ones we used to use, and it's a good thing they did. Tempered glass screen protectors are more durable, scratch-resistant, and usually have some sort of oleophobic coating which reduces the appearance of fingerprints and oils.
3. JETech Privacy: Best screen protector for privacy
Price is based on iPhone 15 and is accurate as of post date. Read full disclaimer.
The JETech Privacy Screen Protector is essentially a carbon copy of our top pick overall but with an inbuilt privacy filter that limits visibility to the person who's looking directly at the device, meaning peeping Toms can't see any sensitive information.
It's got the same thickness, durability and even application tool included. Apart from the privacy filter, the only thing that separates it from the O.G. JETech screen protector is that it only comes in two packs, and it's slightly more expensive. It's still great value, though.
4. ESR Camera Lens Protector: Best lens protector
Price is based on iPhone 15 and is accurate as of post date. Read full disclaimer.
We're often so focused on making sure the front of our devices are protected that we forget about the back—the camera lenses, in particular. These ESR Camera Lens Protectors are easy to install (thanks to the included application tool), and unlike others on the market, they are applied (and can therefore be replaced) per lens, rather than covering the whole camera housing.
The best part is that they won't affect the image quality of your snaps, nor do they block the flash, rear microphone or any sensors.
Final word
At the end of the day, any screen protector is going to be better than no screen protector, but we reckon the JETech Tempered Glass Screen Protector is the best value option for most people, offering durability, easy installation and a budget-friendly price tag.
Screen protector FAQ
Tempered glass screen protectors offer the best visibility, durability, ease of installation and value for money.
It's completely a matter of personal preference. Matte screen protectors can be great for digital artists who use their tablets to draw, and they reduce glare considerably. On the other hand, glossy screen protectors don't compromise the quality of your device's display, making it brighter and more vibrant.
Most gadgets these days boast incredibly strong glass screens, but they're still susceptible to scratches and cracks. Screen protectors are essentially cheap insurance for your device's display, and we think it's more than worth it.
